Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries by Vault City

It seems we're just making anything at this point - rummaging through the cupboards and fridge for random bits lying around. Fuck it, I'll throw a Twix in my next beer batch. Who can stop me?

But the people at Vault City had nobody to stop them either. They decided to throw strawberries and chocolates in and, somehow, they made it work.

It has a healthy pink glow when poured, exactly the way a Guinness doesn't. The smell is definitely leaning towards the strawberry, with a hint of the chocolate if you search for it - but not so obvious that I detected it at first. After a sip, the 'sour beer' part of the name proves itself worthy; it's definitely got tang. Not quite the face-puckering bite your nan gets when you trick her into eating a Haribo 'Tangfastic', but it's there.

After swallowing, the strawberry mellows out and melts into a chocolatey presence, one that reminds me of the Dutch-processed cacao that makes a slightly more earthy chocolate.

Yeah, this is one of the weirder ones. I think the optimal time to enjoy this would be on a summers evening, perhaps listening to some Tom Tom Club. Yeah.
